The Big Savannah Toy Drive is back for its fifth consecutive year and will officially kick off on Friday, November 21. Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center’s (CCAC) annual holiday toy drive collects gifts for the children and families that the organization serves. The community is encouraged to support this year’s toy drive by donating new, unwrapped gifts, such as toys, stocking stuffers, games, art and craft supplies and gift cards. This year, the toy drive will be accepting gift donations at several local businesses through Wednesday, December 17.
“CCAC provides free investigative and therapeutic services to children who have experienced abuse or witnessed violence,” said Executive Director Rose Grant-Robinson, CCAC. “At the end of each year, the Big Savannah Toy Drive invites the Savannah community to get involved and help us make the holidays a little brighter for these kids and their families.”
Those who are interested in supporting this year’s Big Savannah Toy Drive can participate in two ways: donors can sign up to fulfill an individual child’s holiday wish list or they can donate one or more of CCAC’S suggested gifts (a list of items by age group can be found at bigsavannahtoydrive.com). All gifts should be new, unwrapped items and can be dropped off during regular business hours at the following locations throughout Savannah:
The Big Savannah Toy Drive is made possible by generous contributions from many donors and local businesses, including The Eichholz Law Firm, Good Cause Marketing and TradeBark.
